Job summary

White House Clinics is seeking a part-time Sterilization Technician to support the dental team with instrument processing and operatory setup. You will clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments, maintain inventory, and help keep a safe clinical environment. Training is provided for ultrasonic and autoclave equipment.

The role emphasizes meticulous protocols, teamwork, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: Some high school completed.
Minimum Experience: No experience required.
Required License: None.
Proficient in operating sterilization equipment and meticulous in following guidelines and protocols.
Able to grasp and manually manipulate instruments, carry instrument trays and cassettes, and stand for extended periods.
Effective verbal and written communication; able to work as a team.

Responsibilities

Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments after patient care.
Operate ultrasonic cleaner and autoclave to sterilize equipment.
Maintain a safe, hygienic environment throughout the dental area.
Set up operatories before appointments and breakdown after patients.
Maintain inventory of instruments and supplies; communicate needs to supervisor.
Complete sterilization process logs and equipment maintenance records.
