Responsibilities

• Review and revise patient histories and record vital signs.
• Provide preventive dental care including thorough oral prophylaxes with ultrasonic devices, scaling, polishing, and flossing.
• Educate and motivate patients on plaque removal, plaque control, and nutritional guidance.
• Expose, process, and mount dental radiographs.
• Maintain patient recall system; participate in staff meetings; assist with front desk duties if necessary.
• Aid in chair-side assisting; sterilization and maintenance of instruments.
