Job summary

Smile Designers in Salem, MA is seeking a Part-Time Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our friendly, close-knit team as our longtime hygienist retires.

We offer $58–$62 per hour, 2–3 days per week with flexible scheduling, typically 8-hour shifts or 6-hour shifts, and 60-minute appointments for routine hygiene. Join a practice with an established patient base and supportive staff.

Qualifications

• Active dental hygienist license in Massachusetts.
• Good communication and patient care skills.
• New graduates and experienced hygienists are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine dental cleanings and preventive care.
• Perform periodontal assessments, charting, and periodontal therapy.
• Take dental radiographs and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Review patient charts for radiographs due or completed treatment and discuss follow-up needs with the dentist and patient.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Work closely with the dentist and other team members to provide quality patient care.

About Smile Designers

Smile Designers is a well-established, privately owned dental practice in Salem, Massachusetts. After more than 20 years with our practice, our longtime hygienist is retiring in December, and we’re looking for someone to join our friendly, close-knit team.

We take pride in providing quality dental care and making our patients feel comfortable and welcome. Many of our staff members have been with us for years, and we value the relationships we’ve built with both our patients and each other.
