Smile for Life Dentistry is seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team. The schedule includes two days a week: Monday 8am-5pm and Thursday 7am-3pm. You also have the option to work a third day of your choice. Office hours are Tuesday 7:30am-6pm, Wednesday 8am-5pm, and Friday 7am-2pm.

About Smile For Life Dentistry

Located at 4971 S. State Rte 159, Maryville, Illinois, our practice thrives on collaboration and community. Supported by a practice manager and a dedicated team, we are part of the Heartland Dental network, providing extensive resources and support.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Illinois and a relevant degree (Associate’s or Bachelor’s)
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical records
• Desire to grow your clinical skills and provide preventative care

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations
• Prolonged sitting and standing
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
• Availability for periodic training sessions
• TB test prior to employment, except in FL & TN
