Job Summary
- Delivers direct patient care using established dental hygienist procedures.
- Performs procedures associated with the conduct of a denture adhesive study.
- Performs basic clinical research procedures such as placing and removing specimens from partial dentures.
- Performs cleaning and root scaling on patients.
- Manages patient charting.
- Sterilizes instruments, set up and prepare dental equipment and instrumentation in accordance with established regulations and guidelines.
- Takes digital radiographs.
QualificationsEDUCATION
Required- Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required- 2 year accredited dental hygiene program
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES
Required- Indiana State Dental Hygienist Licensure Upon Date of Hire
- Radiology License Upon Date of Hire

Working Conditions / DemandsThe role regularly requires the ability to effectively communicate. The role frequently requires the ability to move about the work environment and to position oneself to operate laboratory equipment effectively. The role requires the ability to move objects weighing up to 25 pounds and will occasionally work near moving mechanical parts.
