Job Summary

• Delivers direct patient care using established dental hygienist procedures.
• Performs procedures associated with the conduct of a denture adhesive study.
• Performs basic clinical research procedures such as placing and removing specimens from partial dentures.
• Performs cleaning and root scaling on patients.
• Manages patient charting.
• Sterilizes instruments, set up and prepare dental equipment and instrumentation in accordance with established regulations and guidelines.
• Takes digital radiographs.

Qualifications

EDUCATION
Required

• Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene

WORK EXPERIENCE
Required

• 2 year accredited dental hygiene program

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES
Required

• Indiana State Dental Hygienist Licensure Upon Date of Hire

Working Conditions / Demands

The role regularly requires the ability to effectively communicate.
