Dental Architects is seeking a Part-Time Dental Equipment Repair Technician to join our team. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing routine maintenance on a range of dental devices to keep our clinic running smoothly.

You will work with handpieces, autoclaves, X-ray units and chairs, document service histories, and coordinate on-site visits with staff. The position offers flexible hours, local travel as needed, and the opportunity to work with advanced dental technology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant coursework is a plus.
• Previous experience in equipment repair or related technical position is preferred.
• Experience with dental, medical, or similar equipment is highly advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities; reading and understanding manuals; proficient with standard repair tools.
• Excellent attention to detail; strong communication and customer service; ability to work independently; willing to travel locally for on-site repairs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair dental equipment (e.g., handpieces, autoclaves, X-ray units, chairs).
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate service records and track repair histories.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies.
• Ensure work complies with manufacturer guidelines, safety protocols, and dental regulations.
