Position Summary: We are seeking a bilingual English/Spanish Dental Assistantto work part time on Thursdays 8:00-4:30 in our Elmhurst, Queens based school health department. This role is serving a high school aged population. Key Duties:

• Assists the Dentist with route procedures.
• Takes digital X-rays and impressions.
• Orders dental supplies and maintains inventory.
• Sterilizes all equipment.
• Schedules appointments and maintains reception area as required.
• Distributes patient educational materials as needed.
• Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals.

Starting Compensation:$21.00 per hour While this role is permanently stationed to work every Thursday in Elmhurst, Queens; initial training will take place in the Bronx. To work in a school health setting, incumbents will complete NYC Department of Education background check.
