42 NORTH DENTAL in Milford, MA is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to support dentists, greet patients, expose radiographs, and maintain a smooth chairside workflow. You will assist during procedures, educate patients, and help keep infection control standards high.

The ideal candidate will know dental procedures and terminology, hold state-required certifications, and be a positive team player who communicates well with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• C.D.A. preferred.
• Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state.
• Embrace a positive team approach to patient care.

Responsabilités

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures
• Provide post operative instructions and patient education
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
• Maintain dental supply inventory
• Perform other related job duties as assigned
• Must demonstrate strong teamwork as the providers assisted are subject to change dependent upon the practice needs
