42 North Dental in Medford, MA is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to support dentists, welcome patients, and maintain a positive team environment. You will assist chairside, manage radiographs, and help with patient communication to ensure a smooth, caring experience.

The role includes room preparation, instrument sterilization, infection control, and routine support for a busy dental practice with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• CDA preferred.
• Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state.
• Embrace a positive team approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
• Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures.
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures.
• Provide post operative instructions and patient education.
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments.
• Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA.
• Maintain dental supply inventory.
• Perform other related job duties as assigned.
• Must demonstrate strong teamwork as the providers assisted are subject to change dependent upon the practice needs.
