Job summary

Success Education Colleges in Riverside, CA is seeking a Substitute Dental Assistant Instructor to deliver classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction on an as-needed basis. This role suits experienced dental professionals who enjoy teaching and helping students prepare for dental assisting careers.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–12:30 PM or 6:00 PM–10:00 PM as needed. Requirements include a minimum of 3 years as a Dental Assistant, graduation from an accredited program, and current RDA

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant Program.
Currently certified as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or licensed dentist.
Proficient in four-handed and/or six-handed dentistry principles.

Responsibilities

Deliver classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction in accordance with established curriculum and lesson plans.
Supervise students during laboratory activities and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Reinforce dental assisting skills, terminology, ethics, and professionalism.
Monitor student performance and provide feedback to support learning outcomes.
Maintain accurate attendance and student records as required.
Collaborate with program leadership and faculty to ensure continuity of instruction.
Follow all college policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
