Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant in Indiana to support clinicians, take x-rays, and manage patient flow in a busy practice.

You will educate patients on oral hygiene, assist with a range of procedures, and maintain infection control while collaborating with the dental team to ensure excellent patient care. A high school diploma and state x-ray certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and stateX-ray certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with dental team and clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow.
• Maintain infection control and sterilize instruments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies.
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns.
• Perform impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Handle general office tasks and team collaboration.
