Aspen Dental in Indiana is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant to support clinicians and patient flow. You will assist doctors during procedures, handle sterilization, take radiographs, and educate patients on oral care.

The role emphasizes chairside support, infection control, and compliance with OSHA/HIPAA and practice guidelines. The position requires state-appropriate Dental Assistant licensure, radiology certification, CPR/BLS, and at least two years of experience.

Formación

• Current Dental Assistant license or registration as required by state.
• Radiology (x-ray) certification required by state.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Proficient at chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.
• Maintains certification and CE requirements as specified by state.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with directing DA office team to maintain productive patient flow.
• Assist doctors during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Breakdown operatory rooms for doctors and hygienists.
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatory; ensure staff training and compliance.
• Follow maintenance schedules for flushing waterlines/suction lines and autoclave procedures.
• Tray and operatory setup for all procedures.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Train others to execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow.
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA requirements and Aspen safety standards.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Provide patients with post-treatment oral care instructions.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies.
• Complete denture relines and fabricate temporary crowns as needed.
• Monitor and assist with laboratory cases.
• Perform intraoral health scans when appropriate.
• Assist with clear aligner processes and bite registrations.
• Take quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform expanded functions based on certification to support patient care.
• Maintain emergency kits and oxygen supplies.
• Order and maintain supplies within budget.
• Support other office tasks as necessary.
