Job summary

Concerned Dental Care of Yonkers is seeking a reliable Dental Assistant to join on a part-time basis in a high-volume practice. You will support chairside procedures, take digital x-rays, and help manage the workflow from check-in to checkout.

Ideal candidates have CPR and a dental assisting certificate, with knowledge of Denticon and radiography. Flexible schedule and onsite parking available at Yonkers clinic.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of dental assistant experience.
• Experience assisting Endodontist, Periodontist or Oral Surgeon.
• Certification from an accredited Dental Assistant program.
• Current NY State Dental Assistant license or DANB CDA/ICE/RHS (preferred).
• CPR certification is required.
• Working knowledge of Denticon and digital radiography (preferred).
• Proficiency with taking digital x-rays (required).
• Strong communication skills and patient-first mentality.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming environment from check-in to checkout.
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist during chairside procedures.
• Take high-quality digital x-rays and maintain accurate charting.
• Sterilize instruments and keep operatory clean per OSHA.
• Educate patients on post-op care and oral hygiene.
• Manage inventory and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Support administrative flow to enhance patient care.
