Job summary

Cosmetic & General Dentistry of New City is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to join a patient-centric, fully digital practice. You will support the dentist with chair setup, patient education, and procedure assistance, while maintaining strict infection control and precise recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• OSHA guidelines adherence and HIPAA privacy compliance.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control.
• Strong teamwork and patient-care focus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment in a timely, pleasant, and professional manner.
• Sterilize and prepare instruments for tray setups before dental procedures.
• Take diagnostic-digital imaging as prescribed by the dentists.
• Practice within the legal scope of assistant duties based on state regulations.
• Maintain meticulous records on patient charts and documents.
• Set up and breakdown rooms between patients per infection control protocols.
• Communicate patient and equipment needs with co-workers.
• Other duties as assigned by Practice Leader and/or Dentist.
