Advanced Dental Care Mandarin in Jacksonville, FL seeks a part-time Dental Assistant to support clinicians and provide high-quality patient care in a team-based office. Responsibilities include preparing rooms, taking X‑Rays, educating patients, and ensuring infection control.

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program or six months on-the-job experience with supporting documentation.
• X-Ray certification.
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dental Assistants are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.

Responsabilidades

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
• Support dentist in emergencies by maintaining CPR certification and emergency supplies.
