Cosmetic & General Dentistry of New City is seeking a knowledgeable Dental Assistant to join our patient-centric team in a modern, fully digital practice. You will assist the dentist, prepare patients, sterilize instruments, and maintain accurate charts while following infection control and HIPAA guidelines.

This role offers part-time hours and a supportive environment with opportunities for growth. Eligible candidates have at least one year of dental assisting experience and current CPR

Qualifications

• At least one year of dental assisting experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• DANB Certification preferred.
• Adhere to OSHA guidelines and HIPAA Privacy Policy.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment in a timely, pleasant, and professional manner.
• Sterilize and prepare instruments for tray setups before dental procedures.
• Take diagnostic digital imaging as prescribed by the dentists.
• Maintain meticulous records on patient charts and documents.
• Set up and breakdown rooms according to infection control protocols between patients.
• Communicate patient and equipment needs with co-workers.
• Other duties as assigned by Practice Leader and/or Dentist.

The Dental Assistant ensures that quality patient care is a priority.
