Job summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant at Anthony Correctional Center in White Sulphur Springs, WV. You will assist the dentist, prepare patients for treatment, and help maintain a clean, efficient clinic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the dentist chair-side during exams and procedures.
• Preparing patients for treatment and supporting dental hygiene education.
• Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control standards.
• Setting up and breaking down treatment areas and equipment.
• Taking and processing intra-oral x-rays as permitted.
• Maintaining accurate patient records within the medical record system.
• Managing dental supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
• Supporting dental sick call and emergency screenings.
• Ensuring the dental clinic remains clean, stocked, and ready for daily operations.
