Part Time Dental Assistant @ Advanced Dental Care of Englewood

Advanced Dental Care of Englewood is seeking a Traveling Part-Time Dental Assistant to support our clinical team by delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring patient satisfaction within a team-based environment.

Hours: Monday, Tuesday 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, and some Wednesdays.

Position Overview:

The Dental Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the office and assisting dental professionals with treatments. Our mission is to provide excellent dental care and create positive experiences. Responsibilities:
  • Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist during procedures.
  • Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
  • Ensure infection control, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, scheduling, and intake documentation.
  • Assist in managing dental and medical emergencies, maintaining CPR certification and emergency supplies.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program, or
  • Six months of on-the-job experience with supporting documentation, along with X-Ray certification.
  • Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Dental Assistants must also maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
