Overview

Advanced Dental Care of Englewood is seeking a Traveling Part-Time Dental Assistant to support our clinical team by delivering high-quality patient care in a team-based environment.

Hours: Mon, Tues 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, and some Wednesdays

Position Overview

As a Dental Assistant, you will be a vital part of our care team, supporting the office and assisting dental professionals during treatments. We are committed to providing excellent dental care and creating positive experiences for our patients. Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, assist during procedures
  • Welcome and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
  • Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, maintain study models
  • Ensure infection control, maintain patient confidentiality, follow safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Assist in managing dental and medical emergencies, maintain CPR certification
Qualifications
  • Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program, or
  • Six months of on-the-job experience with supporting documentation

Additional certifications such as X-Ray and Nitrous Oxide are highly recommended. Maintenance of annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training is required.
