Job summary

Nimmich Endodontics in Sumter, SC is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. You will assist doctors during endodontic procedures, greet patients, and help prepare treatment rooms to ensure comfort and efficiency.

The role also involves sterilizing instruments, taking X-rays, maintaining patient records, and handling light administrative tasks. A 1+ year dental assisting background is preferred; RDA/CDA is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• RDA or CDA preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during a variety of endodontic procedures.
• Greet and accompany patients for treatment to ensure their comfort.
• Sterilize, maintain, and organize instruments and prepare treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
• Capture dental X-rays and other scans as needed.
• Enter and complete patient chart notes and documentation.
• Performing office administrative tasks that require the use of a computer.
