Job summary

ThisWay Global is seeking a Part Time Shift Coordinator in Lihue, HI to assist daily store operations, including opening and closing event activities. You will ensure safety, customer service, product quality, and cleanliness standards while engaging customers through product demonstrations.

The role requires 18+, availability for 2–3 shifts weekly (weekends), ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for up to 6 hours, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Customer service and interpersonal communication skills required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience following safety procedures in a retail environment.
• Comfort interacting with customers during product demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily store operations including opening/closing events.
• Support safety, customer service, product quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Serve as a resource and support for team members during shifts.
• Conduct product demonstrations and sampling to engage customers.
• Educate customers to support purchasing decisions.
• Prepare, cook, and clean sample items as needed.
• Set up and break down demonstration carts and equipment.
• Perform food safety, sanitation, and daily safety checks.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Interact with customers, team members, and store personnel.
