Job summary

Coborn’s in Hayward, WI is seeking a part-time Deli Clerk to join our deli team. You’ll provide remarkable customer service, engage guests with samples, and help create a fun, friendly atmosphere.

Duties include slicing and labeling meats and cheeses, preparing salads, serving from the hot case, stocking the deli area, and assisting with trays and catering orders. We provide training and opportunities for growth in a employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older; Hornbacher's age requirement for this role is 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese products for our guests
• Prepare and dish up salads
• Serve food to guests through the hot case (as applicable at location)
• Ensure the deli case and product areas are stocked with merchandise and visually appealing
• Prepare meat and cheese trays, veggie trays, and other department products to be merchandised and sold in the store
• Follow food safety guidelines and all health, safety and sanitation regulations
• In this position, you may also be responsible for dish washing, mixing ingredients, assembling catering orders baking/frying products.
