This is a part-time position. The primary responsibility is to take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with colleagues to create an excellent shopping and working environment. Responsibilities include preparing, processing, packaging, stocking products, providing customer service, cleaning work areas, unloading stock, and reloading salvage products according to Fresh Foods Standards.

Personal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, willingness to participate in training, and teamwork to increase customer satisfaction and sales.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent.

Language Skills: Ability to read and understand instructions, memos, and correspondence in English; effective in small group communication.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers using American money and weight measurements.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to understand and carry out detailed instructions; solve problems involving concrete variables.

Certificates and Licenses: Completion of company training including orientation, food sanitation, safety, and product knowledge.

Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, walk, handle, reach, talk, hear, taste, and smell regularly; occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must lift up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally. Vision abilities include close, color, and depth perception.
