This is a part-time position. The primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an incredible place to work and shop. Responsibilities include preparing, processing, packaging, and stocking products according to Fresh Foods Standards, providing customer service, cleaning work areas, unloading stock, and reloading salvage products.

Exceptional interpersonal skills. Willingness to participate in and complete required training and work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and associates who only speak English.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Complete company training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service, safety, food safety, and product knowledge.
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and taste or smell. Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must regularly lift/move up to 30 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds). Reaches from 6-72 inches. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color, and depth perception.
