This is a part-time position. The primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an excellent place to work and shop. Responsibilities include preparing, processing, packaging, and stocking products according to Fresh Foods Standards, providing customer service, cleaning work areas, unloading stock, and reloading salvage products.

Associates must be at least 18 years old.
Personal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills. Willingness to participate in and complete required training and work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and associates who speak only English.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and perform operations using US currency and weight measurements.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed instructions and handle problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.
Certificates and Licenses: Completion of company training including orientation, food sanitation, customer service, safety, food safety, and product knowledge.
Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and taste or smell. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must regularly lift/move up to 30 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds). Specific vision abilities include close, color, and depth perception.
