This is a part-time position. The primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an incredible place to work and shop.

Responsibilities include preparing, processing, packaging, and stocking products according to Fresh Foods Standards. Also, providing customer service, cleaning work areas, unloading stock, and reloading salvage products according to standards.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Associates must be at least 18 years old.

Skills and Qualifications

• Personal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, willingness to participate in training, and teamwork to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
• Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos, and correspondence in English; effective in small group presentations.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform addition and subtraction with two-digit numbers, using units of American money and weight measurement.
• Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to carry out instructions and handle problems involving concrete variables.
• Certificates and Licenses: Completion of company training including orientation, food sanitation, safety, and product knowledge.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand, walk, handle, reach, talk, hear, and taste or smell. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must lift/move up to 30 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds). Specific vision abilities include close vision, color, and depth perception.
