This is a part-time position. The primary responsibility is to Take Excellent Care Of Our Customers by satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an excellent shopping and working environment. Responsibilities include preparing, processing, packaging, stocking products according to Fresh Foods Standards, providing customer service, cleaning work areas, unloading stock, and reloading salvage products.

PERSONAL SKILLS: Exceptional interpersonal skills, willingness to participate in training, and teamwork to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and correspondence in English. Ability to present information effectively to English-speaking customers and associates.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to understand and carry out detailed written or oral instructions and handle problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Completion of company training including orientation, food sanitation, safety, food safety, and product knowledge.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regular standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling. Occasionally climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Must lift/move up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color, and depth perception.
