Job summary

Coastal-Pacific-Asia in Guam is seeking a deli/bakery associate to serve customers and support food preparation in a fast-paced setting. You’ll handle orders, assist with party orders, and help maintain clean, safe food service areas.

This part-time position requires reliable teamwork, good communication, and the ability to multitask while following safety and sanitary procedures. Starting pay is $13.60 per hour, with shifts including weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer high school degree; substitution possible with relevant experience.
• Experience: Prefer retail experience in deli/bakery/sushi.
• Communication: able to provide high level of customer service and handle orders.
• Physical: Standing for long periods; able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers in a fast-service deli/bakery environment.
• Prepare daily food items and handle basic cooking tasks with safety.
• Clean and organize eating, service, and kitchen areas.
• Communicate with customers regarding orders, comments, and complaints.
• Pack food and ingredients for catering or takeout orders.
• Monitor and restock supplies to maintain inventory.
• Distribute food to servers and assist with party orders.
• May supervise and train fellow employees as needed.
