Job summary

Pay-Less Markets is seeking a part-time cashier in Guam to accurately process transactions and provide friendly service. You will handle POS, accept various payments, and stay informed on store policies and promotions.

The position requires a high school diploma and 2–3 years of related experience, with flexibility in scheduling and familiarity with promotions and pricing. ABC license or health certificate not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of related work experience.
• Mathematical Skills.
• Must pass an initial Cashier’s test.

Responsibilities

• Rings up items using POS accurately.
• Processes payments (cash, checks, cards, WIC, EBT).
• Delivers courteous service per Customer Friendly Service.
• Answers questions on promotions, policies, and locations.
• Directs customers to products; assists with locating items.
• Assists bagging groceries and helping customers as needed.
• Memorizes and applies item codes for departments.
• Participates in monthly and year-end inventory.
• Collects carts and baskets from the parking area.
• Stocks shelves and supports other departments.
• Knows product codes, documentation, promotions and rules.
• Familiar with velocity codes for pricing.
