Job summary

Facility Services Management, Inc. seeks a PT SSP Operator II to blend precision in thermal process control with rigorous decontamination safety, ensuring equipment and facilities are decontaminated to regulatory and operational standards.

The role involves monitoring TEDS Units, recording readings, and following government procedures. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, maintaining logs, communicating with safety and operations teams, and promptly reporting alarms.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience.
• Willing to learn, follow instructions and work well with team.
• Communicate technical information effectively and professionally.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a NACI security clearance.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, notify and document all activities for the TEDS Units.
• Comply with the TE-29 Teds Surveillance Technician Procedure Manual.
• Perform visual equipment checks and inspections, monitor batch cycles and take readings on the equipment.
• Record daily water meter readings of the facility.
• Visually inspect spaces and utility systems for compliance.
• Initiate deficiency logs and deviation documents and follow-up with a service order.
• Report Level 1 alarms or utility failures to the Government Site Security Control Center.
• Monitor alarms and transmitter readings on tanks and HVAC equipment.
• Perform routine inspections on decontamination equipment; maintain records of cycles and incidents.
• Work with engineering, safety and operations to improve decontamination processes.
• Follow all government procedural manuals for surveillance and recording.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
