Job summary

Fastenal is hiring for a part-time Distribution Center Export position in Jessup, PA. You will coordinate hands-on tasks for international trade, including receipt, inspection, and shipment generation at our 1225 Mid Valley Dr facility.

This entry-level role offers learning across departments, with onboarding training and performance goals. Schedule MON TUE WED THU FRI 8:00am-5:00pm, up to 28 hours/week, with potential flexibility after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient written and spoken communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented.
• Strong math, problem solving and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work extra time as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, auditing, inspecting, scanning, packing and shipping product with traceability.
• Operating computer programs & wireless handheld devices.
• Handle multiple requests at different stages in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Complete required training within the onboarding period.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Follow health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations.
• Support activities toward health and safety objectives.
• Learn, pass and apply EH&S trainings.
