Job summary

The substitute assists with program planning, supervises children 2–4 years old, supports staff, serves snacks, and ensures safety. A High School Diploma and prior child experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children preferred.
• High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, implementation of the program and child assessment.
• Oversee caregiving staff and overall care and supervision of children.
• Supervise indoor and outdoor play.
• Be an active participant in small & large motor skill games.
• Serve prepared snacks.
• Greet parents and students with a smile.
• Effectively communicate with supervisor, parents, children and peers.
