Job description

Episcopal High School is looking for a part-time dance teacher beginning in the fall of 2025. Specific assignment will comprise two sections of Survey of Dance classes (likely one beginner, one intermediate/advanced) which will run during the school day. This position will also include running the afternoon dance program which involves a stand-alone dance class from 4-6 p.m. in the fall and spring seasons and producing a dance concert at the end of each season, and being part of the team of adults running the winter musical (also 4-6 p.m.). Should candidates so desire, options to participate in the residential life of the school will be available for additional pay.

We seek dynamic candidates who will participate eagerly in the broad life of the School, and those who will actively advance the School's mission. References should speak to the candidate’s capacity and willingness to work creatively and effectively with teenagers in a school environment. The salary offered will be competitive and commensurate with experience, and benefits will be provided. Housing is not included with this role.
