Commonpoint is seeking a part-time Dance Instructor for the Health & Wellness Department in Forest Hills, NY. You will teach ballet, zumba, and jazz to children aged 4-12, creating a fun, nurturing environment with hands-on learning and lesson planning.

The role requires strong classroom management, clear communication with administration and parents, and the ability to maintain a safe, clean studio. Working Mondays after school, in-person, at 67-09 108th St.

Qualifications

• Professional Dance background a plus.
• BFA in Dance a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification a plus.
• Previous experience teaching children ballet and other dance styles

Responsibilities

• Teach dance skills and techniques to children aged 4-12.
• Assess dancers and plan lessons to foster learning.
• Maintain supervision and care of each dancer in the program.
• Communicate class concerns to Senior Director and represent the agency positively.
