Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate to process and stock products per Dairy/Frozen standards, maintain clean work areas, and provide friendly customer service. The role includes unloading stock, loading salvaged items, and stepping in as a frozen food clerk when needed. Applicants should be at least 16 years old and ready to train.

The position emphasizes teamwork, basic math skills, and English literacy for instructions and communication with customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to perform these operations using US currency and weight measurements.
• Complete company training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Process and stock products according to Dairy/Frozen Standards.
• Clean work areas and maintain sanitation.
• Provide customer service to shoppers.
• Unload stock and reload salvaged items.
• Perform duties of frozen food clerk when assigned.
