Job summary

William Woods University invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty position to teach on-ground undergraduate courses in cybersecurity and CIS at the Fulton, Missouri campus beginning Fall 2026. Candidates may teach up to three courses in a 16-week semester; a master’s degree in cybersecurity, CIS, IT, or related field is required with at least 18 graduate credits in the teaching discipline.

Proficiency with LMS such as D2L is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, CIS, IT, CS, or related field is required.
• At least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline or related coursework.
• Experience using a learning management system such as D2L.

Responsibilities

• Teach on-ground undergraduate Cybersecurity and CIS courses at the Fulton campus.
• Manage teaching, grading, evaluation, and admin duties to meet program goals.
• Contribute to curriculum and advise students as part of the adjunct team.
