Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Chicago, IL is seeking a Part-time Customer Site Warehouse Support to help move products, prepare shipments, and maintain a safe, organized work environment. The role is based at 1800 W Devon Ave and runs on a Mon-Fri 7:00am-5:00pm schedule with 10-28 hours per week.

Entry-level opportunity focusing on teamwork, adherence to health and safety rules, and learning company systems to support customer sites effectively. Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs and up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Pass the required drug screen (US).

Responsibilities

• Operate computer programs and wireless handheld devices.
• Move and handle product accurately.
• Audit and prepare outgoing shipments to customer facilities.
• Maintain the cleanliness/organization of the work area.
• Comply with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations.
• Participate in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives.
• Learn, pass, and practice various environmental health and safety trainings.
