Job summary

H&S Energy in California is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to support daily store operations. You will cashier, maintain store presentation, ensure food and beverage quality, and provide a welcoming customer experience.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing transactions at the POS, promoting promotions, and maintaining accurate pricing and merchandise. Prior retail or food service experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is desired.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, food service, or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash-handling procedures.
• CPR and First Aid training a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers with enthusiasm and professionalism, creating a welcoming environment.
• Deliver friendly, efficient, and accurate service at checkout while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Follow the company’s Four Steps of Customer Service with every interaction to achieve outstanding customer satisfaction and Mystery Shop performance.
• Communicate current promotions, loyalty programs, and product recommendations to enhance customer engagement.
• Represent the company with professionalism in appearance, communication, and conduct.
• Operate the POS system for all cash, credit, and debit transactions; ensure correct change and receipts.
• Perform safe drops, cash counts, and drawer balancing at shift end.
• Stock shelves and displays; maintain signage and pricing accuracy.
