Job summary

Blarney Castle is seeking a part‑time team member to help serve customers and support store operations. You will work with a team to meet store objectives, follow safety and handling guidelines, and maintain a welcoming environment in compliance with company standards and laws.

The role requires basic math for transactions, ability to read company procedures, and willingness to operate kitchen equipment. You will participate in promotions and ensure accurate cash handling during shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; retail experience considered.
• Good interpersonal skills to connect with customers and provide information.
• Basic math skills for cash transactions, making change, tax percentages and balancing cash registers.
• Must be able to read and apply company procedure documents.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and follow directions from management.
• Ability to operate microwaves, small ovens and kitchen equipment.
• Calm under stress during high volume periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate, undivided attention to customers.
• Participate in promotions and training.
• Handle payments, give change, and process sales transactions.
• Operate cash register, scanners, and fuel payment devices.
• Maintain deli orders and ensure food safety and portion control.
