Job summary

Legacy Cooperative in Devils Lake, ND invites a part-time Customer Service Associate to join our store team. You will greet customers, handle transactions at the register, assist on the deli and sales floor, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

You will learn POS and accounting systems, follow food safety standards, and collaborate with coworkers to provide reliable service. This role emphasizes teamwork, attentiveness, and flexible support across cashier, deli, and customer service

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to learn POS systems and business accounting systems.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
3 months of experience as a Store Salesperson.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, attentive customer service by greeting customers and ensuring a positive experience.
Complete accurate sales transactions including ringing up purchases, handling payments, processing fuel sales, and cash handling.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store and deli environment.
Support daily store operations such as stocking products and assisting with opening/closing tasks.
Follow safety and food handling policies to meet health regulations and standards.
Prepare, cook, and serve deli food items according to safety standards and daily needs.
Collaborate with team members across cashier, customer service, and deli duties.
