Job summary

Harris Teeter in Indian Trail, NC is seeking a part-time Cashier/Customer Service Associate to help customers, operate the register accurately, and maintain secure handling of funds. You will assist at the service counter and ensure a pleasant shopping experience.

When not on-duty, you may serve as floor monitor, perform cashier and bagger duties, complete required training, and follow safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to effectively present information to customers, vendors, and associates who speak English.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Assist customers at the customer service counter and maintain security of all cash.
• Perform floor monitor duties when not assigned to be on-duty; cashier and bagger duties as needed.
