Job Description

This role involves promoting excellent customer experiences. You will oversee a team of associates at the front of the store, ensuring prompt, courteous service and active promotion of loyalty programs. Leading by example, you will engage with customers and maintain a clean, organized store environment, exemplifying outstanding customer service.

  1. Ensure a positive customer experience both internally and externally
  2. Promote a culture of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality
  3. Train and mentor associates on front-end principles
  4. Coach associates on personalizing customer interactions and promoting loyalty programs
  5. Manage register assignments, POS needs, and breaks
  6. Address customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
  7. Ensure store tasks are completed according to plans and priorities
  8. Communicate effectively with management and team members, providing updates
  9. Provide and receive recognition and constructive feedback
  10. Collaborate with management on training needs to enhance effectiveness
  11. Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures
  12. Promote credit and loyalty programs
  13. Support store shrink reduction initiatives
  14. Maintain a safe environment by promoting safety awareness
  15. Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Strong understanding of merchandising techniques
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Adaptability to changing situations
  • Team-oriented mindset, capable of training others
  • Minimum 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience
