Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help maintain a clean, stocked store while upholding safety and company policies.

This part-time role involves loading/unloading merchandise, stocking, and providing friendly, professional service to shoppers and team members alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and climbing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
