Job summary

Jump Start is seeking a part-time Team Member in Wichita, KS to provide friendly customer service, assist with purchases, operate the POS, stock shelves, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment. You will engage customers, promote promotions, and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Pre-employment background check as per laws.
Retail, convenience store, grocery, food service, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
Basic math skills and ability to make change.
Ability to learn and operate a POS system.
Professional conduct, dependability, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, accurate assistance with purchases.
Operate the POS system and handle cash, credit/debit transactions, and provide correct change.
Keep shelves stocked, organize displays, and maintain store cleanliness.
Assist with receiving deliveries, checking in vendors, and verifying invoices.
Ensure a safe, welcoming environment and comply with safety regulations.
