Job Description Summary:

The Remote Part Time Customer Care Associate is responsible for providing world-class service in a call center environment by processing incoming orders and resolving customer inquiries professionally to support the sale and marketing of supplier brands.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 11:30 AM - 7:00 PM EST

Responsibilities include:

  • Responding to customers and entering orders accurately in SAP to ensure sales are captured.
  • Resolving customer inquiries using support tools, including SAP and contacting business units as needed.
  • Maintaining high standards by meeting department metrics and building relationships with customers and contacts.
  • Developing rapport and listening actively to provide consultative support and recommendations.
  • Identifying opportunities to increase customer retention and satisfaction, maintaining confidentiality, and informing customers about deals and stock status.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic PC skills with MS Office and other programs
  • No prior experience required
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask, work independently or in a team, and meet deadlines
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years in customer service
  • Experience in consumer products or distribution industry

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, sit, talk, hear, and operate a computer and telephone

Competencies:

  • Accountability for meeting targets
  • Routine problem-solving with available solutions
