Part-Time | Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM | Pay Rate: $14.00 hourly

Job Purpose or Objective(s):

As an Environmental Services Staff Member, you will ensure the cleanliness of the casino facilities. You will report to the EVS Supervisor, EVS Shift Manager, or EVS Manager on duty.

Primary Tasks

1. Help stock housekeeping supplies when delivered.
2. Apply cleaning solvents to clean rooms or work areas; move or lift objects to do so.
3. Operate cleaning equipment to clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, casino floor, and other areas including fixtures and fittings. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstery, and draperies using vacuum cleaners.
4. Empty wastebaskets, clean ashtrays, and transport trash to disposal area.
5. Wash windows, sills, door panels, walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
6. Handle biohazard materials safely.
7. Respond to customer or public inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department.
8. Assist in cleaning problem areas as needed.
9. Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

• Prior experience in Environmental Services/Housekeeping within the hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of chemical properties, uses, safety signs, production techniques, and disposal methods.
• Familiarity with cleaning machines and tools, including basic maintenance.
• Understanding of cleaning standards in the hospitality sector.
• Knowledge of government public health regulations.
