Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Summit is seeking a dedicated custodian to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces at SW Resources in Parkersburg, WV. This part-time position supports daily operations through thorough cleaning of offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.

Candidates should have custodial experience, reliable transportation, and be able to stand and walk regularly, with lifting up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Position requires regular standing and walking, as well as frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 25 pounds.
• Must have ability to pass criminal background check.
• Part-time position.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas.
• Sweeps and scrubs floor.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Washes windows, door panels and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets, cleans ashtrays.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Sweep and pickup trash on the parking lot and entrances or as specified by contract.
• Cleans all sinks, commodes and mirrors.
