Job summary

Advancia Government Services, LLC is seeking a Janitor in Talkeetna, AK to perform cleaning duties in residential and clinical settings, ensuring a safe and orderly environment. The role requires a high school credential and basic custodial experience, with background checks for security access.

Hours are 3 hours daily (Mon/Wed/Fri) with an additional hour, and the job is contingent upon contract award. The candidate should be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working under minimal supervision

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months custodial/cleaning experience.
• Ability to pass FBI/DOJ background checks to obtain security access badges.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Pass pre-employment background and functional capacity tests.
• Free of communicable diseases.

Responsibilities

• Empties and cleans trash containers.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Cleans and sanitizes floors; vacuuming and carpet care as needed.
• Restocks supplies and maintains clean, organized areas.
• May assist with laundry and linen removal.
• Adhere to safety policies and use PPE correctly.
• Work with minimal supervision.
