Job summary

Advancia Government Services in Ketchikan, AK is seeking a part-time janitor to perform cleaning duties in residential and clinical facilities, keeping all areas clean and orderly. Responsibilities include emptying trash, cleaning basins and restrooms, sweeping, mopping and sanitizing floors, restocking supplies, and assisting with laundry as needed.

Requires passing federal background checks, a valid driver’s license, and work authorization in the United States; 21 hours weekly (M/W/F) 7:00

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• Ability to pass background checks by federal agencies to obtain badges.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background and security checks.
• Must be free of communicable disease.

Responsibilities

• Empties and cleans trash containers.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Cleans and sanitizes floors, restrooms and common areas.
• Restocks supplies and amenities as required.
• May assist laundry and linen as needed.
• Operates cleaning equipment and uses PPE per safety policies.
• Realigns furniture and maintain orderly spaces.
