Job summary

The Budd Group is seeking a Part-Time Custodian to help keep a local school clean, healthy, and safe. You will work Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on-site at the client school in Bamberg, SC.

You will be trained for the role; no prior custodial experience is required. This position emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail to support a positive school environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a state background check.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
• Ability to work the evening shift (Mon–Fri, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM).
• Prior custodial or cleaning experience is a plus, but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal.
• Sanitize classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and high-touch surfaces.
• Serve as a reliable commercial cleaner to meet safety and cleanliness standards.
• Assist with minor maintenance and secure equipment after evening shifts.

What You’ll Do

As a Part Time Custodian, you will play an essential role in keeping our local school clean, healthy, and safe for students and staff. Working as a key school janitor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Performing routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Sanitizing classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and high-touch surface areas.
• Serving as a reliable commercial cleaner to ensure all school facilities meet safety and cleanliness standards.
• Assisting with minor maintenance and ensuring equipment is stored securely after evening shifts.
